KOMPAS.com – Aryaduta Hotel Group is presenting a series of arts and culture programs entitled Asta Karya throughout September-November 2023.
The concept of traditional food and drinks with a modern touch is one of them, apart from the concept of rooms and other facilities.
“Asta in Javanese means hand, Asta Karya means fruit of the hand. We will show it art and culture in several food and drink menus,” said Dina Servita, Assistant Marcomm Manager of Aryaduta Suites Semanggi at the launch of Asta Karya, Wednesday (27/9/2023).
The food and drink menu consists of Lemang Kapau, Navaneela, Javanese Fried Noodles, Nasi Uduk, and Nasi Kuning.
Navaneela is a mocktail made from bok choy and typical Indonesian spices. The name is taken from Sanskrit which means fresh green.

“A combination of bok choy, ginger, turmeric and tamarind sugar is made into Navaneela. Ice and honey are added because the concept is a mocktail,” explained Tri Wahyudi, Food and Beverage Manager of Hotel Aryaduta Suites Semanggi.
One glass of Navaneela is sold for IDR 65,000.
Along with traditional food and drinks, this hotel, which is located in the heart of the capital, also offers the Heritage Safari Suite room concept.
